What’s New for 2023?
The 2023 Nissan Rogue includes a new Midnight Edition package for the SUV configuration. This package adds a lot of eye-catching black exterior features, including wheels, outside mirrors, bumpers, roof rails, and badging. The Platinum and SL trims can also be equipped with Amazon Alexa.
Fuel Economy
“Although this is a highly specialized feature, variable compression involves clever engineering that helps the Rogue reconcile the conflicting aims of performance and fuel economy.” — Kelley Blue Book
KBB Nissan Rogue consumer reviews and expert reviews praise its fuel efficiency. Equipped with a 201-hp VC-Turbo® engine rated at 225 lb-ft of torque, the Nissan Rogue earns up to 30 mpg city/37 mpg highway. Thanks to its fuel-efficient engine and features like variable compression, this Nissan SUV wows with its fuel economy. Other highlighted performance features include the following:
- Front-wheel drive
- Xtronic CVT® (Continuously Variable Transmission) with manual mode
- Eco and Sport Modes
Handling & Suspension
“Around the skidpad, the Rogue was a bit more fun and involved than we expected. Most of that credit goes to our test vehicle’s optional all-wheel-drive system. We could feel it doling out the power to the rear wheels, which helped give the Rogue less understeer than many small SUVs.” — Edmunds
Although it’s an everyday SUV, the Nissan Rogue livens up every drive with smooth, responsive handling. It comes equipped with the following handling and suspension features:
- Independent strut front suspension
- Independent multi-link rear suspension
- Front and rear stabilizer bars
- Vehicle-speed-sensitive electric power steering
Cargo Space
“All models have 74.1 cubic feet of room with the rear seats folded down. That’s fantastic for a compact SUV.” — U.S. News
Despite its compact size, the Nissan Rogue offers room for everyone and everything. Inside, you’ll find up to 31.6 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats up. The SL and Platinum trim levels offer a bit more space with the Divide-N-Hide cargo system. Fold the seats down, and you’ll get up to 74.1 cubic feet of cargo space.
